I’m thrilled to report that Rothwell Town Council has been crowned as Northamptonshire’s council of the year. It is great to be part of this team, working hard to serve the Rothwell's residents, and therefore fantastic to have our efforts recognised.
Rothwell Town Council picked up the award, decided by the Northamptonshire County Association of Local Councils (NCALC), last month for the commitment of councillors and its clerk Jo as well as ‘exciting’ projects which are coming to fruition.
Danny Moody, chief executive officer of NCALC, said:
"This council has massively ramped up its activities to contribute to the quality of life in its community over the past six years. A great council needs a great team of councillors and this council has councillors with experience, skill and the determination to improve the quality of life in this community."
Rothwell Town Council has some exciting projects in the pipeline as we approach 2024!
