On 1st May we will have local elections here in North Northamptonshire. “Not another one!” I hear Brenda from Bristol say.
A few people have asked me if I’m standing. The answer is yes. I’ve loved serving on Rothwell Town Council and as your Mayor this year. There’s still so much to do, from getting the Neighbourhood Plan over the line, sorting Rothwell’s new sports and leisure plan to the current team effort improving health and wellbeing. I’m standing to bring fresh ideas and new blood to NNC.
Over the coming weeks I’ll be out on the doorsteps working to earn people’s vote with my running mates Cedwien and Cliff. Looking forward to speaking to as many people as possible.
