Visitors from Kettering's twin town Lahnstein, Germany were welcomed this week. There has been an action-packed programme of events during the week. The visit has historically taken place every two years but has been postponed for five years due to the Covid-19 pandemic so it is great to see it return - next year, visitors from Kettering will travel to Lahnstein.
The Kettering-Lahnstein Twinning Committee has existed for almost 70 years, promoting friendship and cultural exchanges, between our two countries.
I was pleased to join lovely evening with friends from Lahnstein with a guided tour of Potbelly Brewery.
